Drag Poetry:

I got my start as a drag queen reciting poems at the fabulous SoHo coffeehouse.  I always thought that drag and poetry have a lot in common.  Every thinks they can do it and although most of it is pretty decent, some of it really really sucks.  As I evolve as an artist and drag queen, I have decided to revise this part of my career and am pleased to bring you several new poems I've composed over the past months which pretty much reflects some of the themes in my rants.

What is Drag Poetry?

Drag Poetry is the fushion of two art forms.

Drag - the process of gender illusion and
Poetry- the means of literary allusion.

Drag Poetry is self expression
Drag Poetry is neuvo avant garde
